The "iBotnet" for iMac

We bought a Mac computer for our business in 2004 since our first PC a Dell, was gobbled up by the Blaster and mm Kleem, ( if memory serves as well as usual )
They were 2 of the multitude of virus and metamorphic worms which seem to plague windows boxes...
Mind you, both the malicious  Blaster worm and Klee had supposable been cleaned up, albeit the Blaster of August 2003 took multiple attempts, one of which was touted as being the most recent from  MIT.  the quintessential school of Technology, and it is just that an amazing place with some brilliant minds, I only know b/c I've known some
- then of course there's the reputation, oui there is always that. Now  according to computer security researchers, It now stands that sleek Mac computers are also sought-after targets for the creators of harmful programs. Kevin Haley, a director of security response at Symantec tell us that, "The bad guys generally go toward the biggest target, what will get them the biggest bang for their buck " hmm news eh.. The harmful software is a Trojan horse, called "iBotnet", it tries to sneak into the computer with some sort of permission from the user, pc (personal computers) worms travel differently. They wiggle their way into computers and replicate without the owner's approval or knowledge. The program that can infect your Mac is called a botnet because infected computers become part of a network that is controlled by the program's author. The witty little arse, but wait ... if you are a Mac user you shouldn't be alarmed too much by the incident, since the program infects only computers whose users downloaded pirated versions of the Mac software, iWork which costs roughly 79.US dollars.
Of course the 2 major anti-virus programs would love for us to purchase their software,
on my 2004 mac one of them was a nightmare, but what did I know a newbie that
had to spend 80 dollars to be harassed, however it taught me something,
still it would of been better had I not met up with  discussions and the users there. Right then, and there tis, stealing (affectionally called pinching by some ) can get one more then they had bargained for.. Lets remember that when we download software, and err freebie songs eh.
